Heritage Hill is a unique historic precinct featuring three beautifully preserved buildings in two acres of landscaped gardens. Laurel Lodge (1869), Benga House (1936) and St James Anglican Church (1864) survive as fine examples of 19th and early 20th century architecture and offer visitors an insight into Dandenong’s transformation from a rural market town to a bustling, multicultural metropolis.
Today, Heritage Hill is a thriving arts and cultural district offering art exhibitions, musical events, school holiday workshops, talks and seminars as well as historical displays, guided tour packages, education programs, a beautiful setting for weddings, commercial photography and filming hire and much more.
