Last week, we had a very exciting media event in the garden. Village Graphics director, Daryl Pitman, was filming around Heritage Hill for an upcoming TV show about Dandenong! It was such big news that the Leader Newspaper, sent out one of their photographers, Andrew Batsch, to cover it. 
Andrew is the guy in the bushes, photographing Daryl and his presenter, Robyn Williams.
The TV show, which is to be called The City and screened on Channel 31 at the end of the year, is looking for local presenters and media students who would like an on camera role.
The City will showcase the amazing diversity of Dandenong, it’s cultural tours, history, food, sport, arts and future.

As you can see, a job in the media isn’t always glamorous but it is an exciting career.
